Quality & Testing

SPX LABS QUALITY

Quality Should Be Demonstrable.

SPX Labs focuses on clear product information, batch traceability and analytical documentation where testing has been performed.

OUR APPROACH

Transparency Over Claims

Quality should not rely on marketing language alone. Researchers should be able to assess the information associated with the material they receive.

Where analytical testing has been performed, SPX Labs aims to associate the relevant documentation with the applicable product or batch.

WHAT WE PRIORITISE

Product identity

Relevant specifications

Batch or product references

Available analytical documentation

Clear storage and handling information

TRACEABILITY

Batch Identification Matters

Where applicable, a product or batch reference can help connect the material supplied with the documentation relevant to it.

PRODUCT REFERENCE

Products can be identified using the appropriate name, quantity and relevant reference information.

BATCH REFERENCE

Where batch references are used, they can support traceability between the supplied material and the relevant documentation.

DOCUMENT MATCHING

Analytical documents should be assessed against the corresponding material or batch rather than treated as a generic product claim.

ANALYTICAL TESTING

Understanding the Documentation

The exact analytical information available will depend on the testing actually performed on the relevant product or batch.

HPLC / CHROMATOGRAPHIC DATA

Where chromatographic testing has been performed, the documentation may provide information relating to the analytical profile of the tested material.

MASS SPECTROMETRY / IDENTITY DATA

Where identity-focused testing has been performed, relevant analytical data may be included in the associated documentation.

Important: SPX Labs should only present analytical methods and results that correspond to testing actually performed on the relevant product or batch.

CERTIFICATES OF ANALYSIS

COA Availability

Where a Certificate of Analysis or other analytical documentation is available, it should correspond to the applicable product or batch reference.

If you require documentation for a specific product, contact SPX Labs and include the relevant product or batch reference where possible.

WHEN REQUESTING A COA

Include the product name.

Include the batch or reference number where available.

Specify which documentation you require.

Do not rely on documentation for a different batch as evidence for the material you received.

RESEARCH USE ONLY

Documentation Supports Research — Not Human Use

Analytical documentation does not change the intended use of SPX Labs products. Products remain supplied solely for legitimate laboratory research, analytical testing and scientific evaluation and are not intended for human or animal consumption.
