These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the SPX Labs website and purchases made through spxlabs.co.uk. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with the policies referenced below.
1. About SPX Labs
SPX Labs supplies research compounds and laboratory materials for legitimate scientific research, analytical testing and in-vitro applications.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, products supplied by SPX Labs are intended for research purposes only and are not supplied for human or animal consumption, clinical use, diagnosis, treatment or therapeutic application.
2. Eligibility to Purchase
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order with SPX Labs.
By purchasing a research product, you confirm that your purchase and intended use are lawful and that you understand the stated research-only status of the product.
3. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, quantities, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Product images may be illustrative. Where batch-specific analytical documentation or Certificates of Analysis are provided, the information applies to the product or batch identified in that documentation.
SPX Labs does not make a blanket guarantee that every product or batch will achieve a particular analytical result unless that result is specifically supported by applicable documentation.
4. Orders & Contract Formation
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Receipt of an automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before dispatch where reasonably necessary, including where payment cannot be authorised, stock or pricing information is materially incorrect, fraud is suspected, or we reasonably believe that supply or intended use may be unlawful or inconsistent with our research-use requirements.
Where SPX Labs cancels a paid order before dispatch, any amount due to the customer will be refunded using an appropriate payment method.
5. Prices & Payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated. Applicable delivery charges and other costs will be shown during checkout before an order is submitted.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available through our checkout.
6. Delivery
Available delivery services, charges and estimated delivery periods are displayed where applicable during checkout.

7. Cancellations, Returns & Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where statutory cancellation rights apply to an online purchase, customers may exercise those rights within the applicable statutory period and subject to any lawful exceptions.

8. Research-Use Restrictions
Products designated for research use must not be used contrary to their stated research-only purpose.
SPX Labs does not provide dosing instructions, administration protocols, treatment recommendations or medical advice.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where we reasonably believe that products are being purchased for an unlawful purpose or for use inconsistent with their stated research-only status.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession, handling and intended use of products complies with applicable laws, regulations and institutional requirements.
Customers are also responsible for appropriate storage, handling and disposal of research materials.
10. Intellectual Property
The SPX Labs name, branding, original website content, original graphics and original product photography are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission.
11. Website Availability
We may update, modify or temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary. We cannot guarantee that the website will always operate without interruption or error.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to applicable law, SPX Labs is not responsible for loss arising from deliberate misuse of a product contrary to its clearly stated research-only purpose.
13. Privacy & Cookies
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to our services, website, business practices or applicable requirements. The current version will be displayed on this page.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to the customer.
