Research Use & Product Disclaimer

Last updated: 3 September 2026

This page explains the intended purpose and limitations applicable to research products supplied by SPX Labs.

Products designated for research use are supplied solely for legitimate laboratory, analytical and scientific research purposes. They are not supplied or represented for human or animal consumption.

1. Research Use Only

Products identified by SPX Labs as research compounds, reference materials or research-use products are intended solely for legitimate scientific and laboratory applications.

Appropriate applications may include laboratory research, analytical testing, chemical or biochemical investigation and in-vitro research where lawful and appropriate.

2. Not for Human Consumption

Research products supplied by SPX Labs are not intended for human consumption or administration.

They are not supplied as medicines, medicinal products, food supplements, foods, cosmetics or consumer health products.

They are not supplied for self-experimentation or personal use.

3. Not for Animal Administration

Unless expressly and lawfully stated otherwise for a particular product, SPX Labs research products are not intended for administration to animals, veterinary treatment or veterinary therapeutic use.

4. No Medical or Therapeutic Purpose

SPX Labs does not supply research products for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation or prevention of disease or any other therapeutic purpose.

Nothing on the SPX Labs website should be interpreted as medical advice, prescribing information or a recommendation that a research compound should be used therapeutically.

5. No Dosing or Administration Advice

SPX Labs does not provide instructions or advice concerning human or animal dosing, injection, administration, treatment protocols, cycles or similar personal-use practices.

Requests for such advice may be declined.

6. Product Information

Product information is provided to identify and describe research materials and may include information such as product name, quantity, batch reference, storage information and analytical documentation.

Scientific or technical information displayed on the website should not be interpreted as an instruction or recommendation for personal, medical or therapeutic use.

7. Analytical Documentation

Where analytical documentation is provided, it relates to the specific material, sample or batch identified by that documentation.

SPX Labs does not rely on a blanket purity claim as a substitute for batch-specific analytical information.

Where applicable, analytical information may include chromatographic data, mass-spectrometry information, certificates of analysis or other relevant laboratory documentation.

8. Batch Identification & Traceability

Where batch identification is provided, customers should retain the relevant product label, batch reference and associated documentation for their research records.

Analytical documentation should be matched to the applicable batch or sample reference rather than assumed to apply universally to every unit or future batch.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are purchased, possessed, stored, handled and used in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and appropriate laboratory practices.

Customers are also responsible for determining whether they have the appropriate knowledge, facilities, procedures and authority to handle the research material they purchase.

10. Storage & Handling

Research materials should be stored and handled in accordance with the information provided for the particular product and appropriate laboratory procedures.

Products should be kept securely and away from children, unauthorised persons, food, drink and consumer products.

11. Prohibited Use

SPX Labs does not knowingly supply research products for:

  • human consumption or administration;
  • animal consumption or administration;
  • self-experimentation;
  • diagnosis or treatment of a person or animal;
  • therapeutic or clinical use;
  • bodybuilding, performance-enhancement or weight-management use;
  • use as a medicine, supplement, food or cosmetic; or
  • any unlawful purpose.

12. Refusal or Cancellation of Orders

SPX Labs reserves the right to refuse, cancel or restrict an order where we reasonably believe that a product is being purchased for an unlawful purpose, prohibited use, personal administration or another use inconsistent with its stated research-only purpose.

We may also request additional information where reasonably necessary to assess an order before supply.

13. Regulatory Classification

The regulatory status of a substance or product can depend on factors including its composition, presentation, intended purpose, claims and the jurisdiction in which it is supplied.

The use of terms such as “research use only” or “not for human consumption” does not, by itself, determine the legal or regulatory classification of a product.

SPX Labs may restrict or discontinue a product where regulatory or legal considerations make continued supply inappropriate.

14. Website Content

Content published by SPX Labs is provided for general product, technical and research information. It is not intended to replace professional scientific, legal, regulatory, medical or safety advice where such advice is required.
